Tagalog Class for Kids - East Bay / Berkeley, CA

These classes are designed to teach Tagalog to children in a fun, effective and highly hands-on format. Grammar and conversation study will be combined with interactive & kinesthetic games, songs and storytelling in Tagalog for a richer immersion in the Filipino language and culture.

Session 1 (50 minutes) - ages 3-6
Session 2 (50 minutes) - ages 7-13

Content:
1st class: greeting and introductions, talking about yourself & your family
2nd class: naming things and people
3rd class: describing things and people

Tuition: $42 for all three sessions or $15 drop in + material fee of $5 (good for 3 sessions)

Barter your business skills for Tagalog lessons!

I'm looking for someone patient, organized and web-savvy to help coordinate the upcoming classes. Very light tasks (1-3 hours/week) and everything will be done offsite. These mainly include:

* responding to email inquiries
* maintaining the email database
* posting the classes in craigslist and other forums
* managing the class roster and the students' information

In exchange: participation in the group classes as well as private lessons (we'll figure out the hour exchange), not to mention a chance to casually talk to someone in Tagalog on at least a weekly basis! A minimum of 2-4 months commitment requested.
