We are currently offering:


The Continuing Beginner Conversational Class allows you to review, practice, further build on the lessons from the previous basic session. This is also perfect for those with experience but need a refresher course. Special attention on grammar will be addressed. Prospective students will be assessed to make sure that their Filipino conversational skills, grammatical knowledge and application will qualify for this more advanced session. Ages 15 and up. Mondays, Oct 18 - Dec 6, 2021 (7 classes, no class on Thanksgiving Week); 6:00pm - 7:45pm PDT, online, $140

Basic Conversational Tagalog Class
8-class week session, October 26 – December 21
Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30 PM
(future session: 8 Mondays, starting January 23 2017)

 The Basic Conversational Class at the Bayanihan Community Center emphasizes practical phrases and grammatical strategies that will get you speaking confidently within days. The class will cover greetings and introductions, description of people and places, stating preferences or non-preferences, counting, shopping, telling time and basic usage of verbs. By the end of the class, students should be able to formulate sentences, 
have a working vocabulary of about 100-600 words, and be able to carry on a basic conversation.   
Fee and Payment Information:  $200 / 8-classes

ONLINE BEGINNING TAGALOG CLASSES
8-weeks, November 16 2015 - January 4 2016
Mondays,  6:30 – 7:30 PM PST.

   

 Now you can learn Tagalog anywhere with us!

 

We will use the same method and materials we use in our highly popular and effective group Tagalog classes in San Francisco.  This online Tagalog class emphasizes conversation and will cover greetings and introductions, description of people and places, stating preferences, counting, shopping, telling time and basic usage of verbs. By the end of the class, students would be able to formulate sentences, have a working vocabulary of about 100-600 words, and be able to carry on a basic conversation.  Off-class hours teacher consultations (optional)  and peer practice will also be available.

To participate, you only need a headset and webcam. You can attend the class from your laptop or smarthphone in our virtual classroom No software download necessary.  Further instructions to access the classroom and course materials will be sent after registration.
