Conversational Tagalog Classes - July - August 2014

Beginner Conversational Tagalog - San Francisco, CA
8-week session,  July 14-August 25, 2014
8 Mondays, 6:15-7:45 PM
optional 5 Wednesdays 8-9 PM, starting in mid-August (for those who want more intensive practice)

The beginner conversational class at the Bayanihan Community Center emphasizes practical phrases and grammatical strategies that will get you speaking confidently within days. The class will cover greetings and introductions, description of people and places, stating preferences or non-preferences, counting, shopping, telling time and basic usage of verbs. By the end of the class, students would be able to formulate sentences, have a working vocabulary of about 100-600 words, and be able to carry on a basic conversation.

* Because of your feedback, we've now added an additional day for those who can and want to meet more than once a week to practice-- please use the intensive option if you want to attend both Monday and Wednesday classes ! We'll do intensive if there's enough interest.

* class co-taught with Robin Estrada (bio here)
